If you're not seeing your resurrected plugin, and you've already scanned for new plugins, or if a plugin is misbehaving, it's a good idea to see if the plugin works correctly in a 32-bit DAW. If you don't have a 32-bit DAW, you can use Reaper 32-bit's free trial.

1. Go to https://www.reaper.fm/download.php, download and install Reaper 32-bit.

2. Launch Reaper 32-bit. It will scan all your plugins.

3. From the 'Reaper' menu, select 'Prefrences' and select your Audio Device. If you're using a MIDI keyboard, make sure it is enabled under 'MIDI Devices'.

4. Insert the plugin. You can insert it on the Master channel by clicking the 'FX' Button on the Master. You can also insert JS's 'White Noise Generator' before the plugin so you can hear the plugin in action.

If you're trying a VST instrument,  from the 'Track' menu, select 'Insert virtual instrument in new track'.

That's it.
